Mother's Day Bath & Body Gift Ideas!

Mother's Day Bath and Body DIY Gift Ideas with essential oils

Mother's Day can be a bit stressful trying to find the perfect gift that shows mom she is extra special. I love making a little pampering basket for my mom's that gives them something they can't buy at a store and shows that I put the time into making something special for them. These diy's are very easy if you have all the ingredients. Most of these have essential oils in them, although not a requirement, they do add that extra special touch.

I highly recommend getting high quality essential oils whenever possible. Just like our food system, it's important to know how your oils are grown and distilled or you could be adding more harmful ingredients to your body. You can see why I choose the Young Living oils here.

1. Bath Soak in a Jar:

Epsom Bath soak recipe with essential oils

One of the easiest gifts I like to give is a Bath Soak in a Jar. It contains only a few ingredients, Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate) baking soda (neutralize the bath water) and therapeutic grade essential oils for the ultimate in pampering. You can create so many different scents with oils, it's a great way to get creative and have fun.

Check out my Bath Soak recipes blog post for variations on this gift, plus editable and printable labels for a super cute presentation.

2. Peppermint Sugar Scrub:

If you've never tried sugar scrubs on your lips, you are missing out. Yes, you can use sugar scrubs for your entire body, great for hands and feet. But, my favorite is for the lips. Forget the toxin-filled lip balms from the grocery store, I'm telling you, this will change your life. With just 3 ingredients, Sugar, Coconut Oil and Essential Oils, your lips and skin will be in heaven.

Mix all ingredients together in glass jar. Seal tightly with lid.

3. Body Butter:

This body butter is the ULTIMATE of luxury. It's almost crazy to think how easy it is to make but it's so full of good ingredients.
