Immune-Supporting, Soothing, All-natural Tea

Thieves essential oil blend is famous for maintaining a healthy immune system. If you haven't heard of Thieves blend I will briefly explain, it's AWESOME! You can even google some cool experiments people have done with it. This oil blend has supported my whole family's immune system over the last year and now that winter is among us, I can see the difference it has made in our health.

I LOVE this recipe with Thieves Vitality and Lemon Vitality. It's so perfect for the winter season. Plus, it's super easy to make! Drink this tea through out the winter months to support a healthy immune system.

Thieves Vitality is on the spicy side, so I sweeten it to help balance. Make sure you only get one drop or it will be SUPER spicy. That's when you split it into two cups and dilute the remainder. Enjoy!

Thieves Tea

  • Hot water
  • 1 drop Thieves Vitality essential oil blend (only 1, trust me)
  • 2 drops lemon Vitality essential oil
  • Sweetener of choice.  I use raw honey (I buy mine here)

Heat water until just before boiling. Add your sweetener and oils to a mug. Add hot water and stir. Feel free to make this your own and customize to your liking.

What are some natural methods you use to maintain your family's health all year long?

Love Lavender!!

What doesn't this stuff do? Now, I know why it's called the "Swiss Army Knife" of essential oils. It's got a million uses, I can't even believe it. My husband loves it to maintain easy breathing through out the day. I love it to support healthy skin. I also use it on my kids to promote a restful night by adding it to their epsom salt bath before bed or to their diffuser. Love, love, love Lavender.

Some common uses for Lavender include:

  • use 1 drop on dry or chapped skin to soothe
  • add 4 drops to a diffuser before bedtime
  • add 4 drops to 1 cup of Epsom Salt for relaxing bath time experience
  • add 1 drop in your hand with your shampoo to support healthy hair growth
  • add 2-3 drops on dryer balls to naturally scent your laundry.
  • add 2 drops to 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup coconut oil to make an edible lip scrub
